June 20th Dyea Trip + Gallery Links
The Skagway, Alaska area is an easy day trip from Whitehorse, and it has become an annual June event for our club to do a field outing there. Our primary purpose is to photograph the wildflowers that proliferate on the Dyea flats. Of course, any interesting subject is fair game for our cameras, including bears and waterfalls along the highway, as well as the inevitable scenic shots.
About 10 photographers participated in this year’s edition. Five of our members have created online galleries of their photos from the trip, which you can view at the following links:
