The Skagway, Alaska area is an easy day trip from Whitehorse, and it has become an annual June event for our club to do a field outing there. Our primary purpose is to photograph the wildflowers that proliferate on the Dyea flats. Of course, any interesting subject is fair game for our cameras, including bears and waterfalls along the highway, as well as the inevitable scenic shots.
